TICINO MEETS LONDON

It is commonly known that Switzerland has been named the world’s most innovative country for the 13th year in a row. What is less known is that, according to the most recent European Innovation Scoreboards (2021 and 2023), the Canton of Ticino is the second most innovative Swiss region after Zurich.

Indeed, Ticino is home to not only world-renowned research institutes, but also cutting-edge companies that are successful in a variety of sectors, ranging from mechanical and electrical engineering industries and related technology sectors to life sciences and the food industry, and are strongly oriented towards international markets.

The event’s goal is to present to the London business community the Canton of Ticino’s innovation and industry dynamics, a manufacturing landscape that is steadily shifting in favour of high-tech and sustainable businesses, and to provide a platform for participants to connect and interact, with the ultimate goal of stimulating transnational cooperation between companies.
