This course offers hands-on know-how for the day-to-day business of companies involved in international trade.
This course is structured in two modules: “Shipping goods abroad: basic” will be held on May 4th and “Shipping goods abroad: advanced” will be held on May 11th.

- Important clarifications before shipping / understanding key documents (for example: export- / import-license, tax-exemption, letter of credit, certificate of origin, EORI-no., etc.)
- Requirements for invoices in international trade
- Modes of transport: truck, railroad, barge, air- / ocean freight, container & intermodal transportation; calculation of chargeable weights and freight costs; options and regulations in packaging
