Spotlight: Central Asia and South Caucasus

For the second time, the flagship Conference of the Joint Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Eastern Europe, Central Asia, South Caucasus (JCC) will have a Ticino edition, jointly hosted with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Canton Ticino (Cc-Ti).

Central Asia and the South Caucasus are navigating a rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape shaped by intensifying competition among major powers such as China, Russia, the European Union, and the United States. The ongoing conflict in the Middle East adds further complexity to the region’s economic and strategic environment.

Despite these challenges, the region continues to position itself as a key hub for interregional trade, energy transit, and infrastructure development. With vital corridors connecting east, west, north, and south, it plays an increasingly important role in global supply chains and sustainable energy networks.

This Event will offer expert insights into how countries in Central Asia and the South Caucasus are responding to geopolitical shifts, strengthening regional cooperation, and leveraging opportunities in sectors such as renewable energy and transport infrastructure. Keynote presentations will address regional diplomacy, security risks, economic integration, and the outlook for companies interested in engaging with these dynamic markets.
